How to Investigate the Downed Black Helicopter in Fortnite | Foreshadowing Quests Guide

On May 25, Epic dropped a brand new set of questline for us to complete that seems to reveal a little more information about the story behind the game. The Foreshadowing Quests is a set of five challenges that net us a total of 120,000 XP once they're all complete. In this guide, we cover how to complete one of the first ones: Investigate the downed black helicopter.

Step One: Find the Helicopter

One might think that it's as simple as finding the helicopter, but there is actually more to it than that. In the image below, you'll see where you need to go to do this quest.

Once you reach the helicopter, you must tune the helicopter to hear the messages. The controls are rather easy, but you must tune them in a specific order to reveal the final hidden message and fully complete this challenge.

Step Two: Tune the Radio

The list below tells you which buttons you need to press, either + (Plus) or - (Minus) to reach the next hidden message. They must be pressed in the correct order. If you keep pressing the wrong button, you'll have to go back to the original first message and start over.

1. *hiss*...truck inbound, OPSEC level 3 *hiss*: Press +
2. *hiss* field decon truck inbound, OPEC level 3 is in effect *hiss*: Press -

Once you have tuned the radio, you've completed the quest! You're now ready to move on to the next challenge: Repair Broken Telescopes!
