The power of the gods will be in the palm of your hand in Fortnite Myths and Mortals, and more unique mythic weapons will be added throughout the season. The Thunderbolt of Zeus is a new mythic weapon that harnesses the power of lightning to strike enemies.

The Thunderbolt has three charges, and in between every charge, there is a cooldown delay. Since there's a cooldown, you must be cautious and tactical with this weapon to get eliminations.

You can obtain this mythic weapon by exploring and looting around the map, but this process is time-consuming. The best method to get this item is to fight and defeat Zeus at Mount Olympus POI. Defeating the boss allows you to get the Thunderbolt of Zeus instantly, but beware as several other players will aim to do the same.

How to eliminate players with Thunderbolt of Zeus in Fortnite Myths and Mortals

One of the strategies I use involves gaining high ground on your opponent and hurling thunderbolts from behind cover. Remember, the wind-up animation to hurl the thunderbolt puts your character in mid-air, where you’ll be vulnerable to enemy fire. This mechanic is quite similar to Goku's Kamehameha and Deku's Smash where your character is vulnerable during the charge animation. Aim at the opponents while holding the thunder charge, and throw it down to deal damage.
