Operation Snowdown was mentioned in the Fortnite 15.10 patch notes, but we were unsure when this event would be happening. But as of right now, Operation Snowdown has begun in Fortnite, so get ready for planes, LTMs, snow, and more!
The challenges were leaked with the patch on Tuesday, but all the challenges are not available all at once. How Operation Snowdown works is that four of the challenges are available from the get-go, and then every day, spread over 12 days, one more challenge is going to unlock for you to complete.
All of these challenges are time-limited, so in 2 weeks and 3 days of writing this article, Operation Snowdown will end; this will be on January 5th. So make sure that everything is completed before then! When the final challenge is unlocked, you have a few extra days of leeway to make sure you have everything tied up with a neat looking bow!
Though due to the cosmetics earned also being leaked with the challenges, we can easily discover what challenges are coming when.
The first four challenges are below:
- Complete Operation Snowdown Quests (0/9) – Snowmando
- Complete Operation Snowdown Quests 0/12 – Frost Squad
- Visit different Snowmando outposts (0/5) - Frost In Action
- Search chests at Snowmando outposts (0/5) - Shield Surprise
The rest of the challenges in the correct order of release can be found here Fortnite – Operation: Snowdown Challenges.
Not only does Operation Snowdown give you challenges for goodies and XP, but Epic Games has also added a bunch of LTMs for you to play! Here is the complete list they have added!
