What do the new Medallions do in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4? (Map Locations)

The Chapter 5 Season 4 update for Fortnite added new POIs, weapons, and much more to the game. Team up with Marvel superheroes to defeat Doctor Doom and foil his evil plan. With this update, you'll also come across four new Medallions across the map that can grant you special powers.

What does Siphon Medallion do?

Equipping the Siphon Medallion grants you the ability to siphon HP on eliminations. This means a portion of your health and shield will automatically replenish upon killing opponents, which comes in handy when you're fighting multiple enemies.

This Medallion can acquired by defeating Doombot at Castle Doom (see map above). The NPC also drops the mythic version of the Monarch Pistol, so make sure to check that weapon out as well.

What does Stealth Medallion do?

It gives you invisibility when crouched. However, the cloak wears off when you start attacking or come out of the crouch stance. Don't rely on this ability too much as experienced players may still spot you.

The Stealth Medallion can be picked up after defeating Mysterio in the Doomstadt POI (see map above). I also suggest using the mythic version of the Sovereign Shotgun that Mysterio drops alongside the Medallion.

What does Reveal Medallion do?

This Medallion periodically marks nearby enemies for a brief period with a red marker on top of their character. I don't find this Medallion all that useful but it's something you should pick up if you come across one.

You can acquire this Medallion and the mythic Striker Burst Rifle by defeating the NPC enemy Emma Frost at The Raft POI, which I've marked on the map above.

What does Birthday Medallion do?

The final item on the list, the Birthday Medallion, reportedly gives you a balloon every time you jump. It is an Easter Egg that isn't available yet. Expect to see this special item during the Fortnite anniversary event, which may arrive next month.
