The Storm Flip is a grenade that can reverse the effect of a safe zone and storm. In other words, you can use the Storm Flip to create a safe zone in the storm or a storm zone in the safe area. It makes a sphere of storm that damages as much as the current storm when used in a safe area. Similarly, it makes a sphere of safety that stays for 20 seconds when used in a storm.

In reality, however, things get much more complicated, especially when you use the Storm Flip near the end of the match when the storm is already shrinking. It is impossible to know what is safe and what is not, as multiple players use Storm Flip in the last zone.

The Storm Flip is a purple-colored item that belongs to the Epic tier. You can get it from floor loot, loot chests, or supply drops. It lets you create a large sphere by throwing it at the floor. The sphere shields you from the passive storm damage for the duration of the item. The Storm Flip is especially helpful in forcing your enemies to move out of their hiding spots or find a place to heal yourself.

Storm Flips was a controversial feature that debuted in Chapter 1, Season 9, and was quickly removed by the Epic Games. It's important to note that Storm Flips are not stackable items in the current season. You need one inventory slot for each Storm Flip you have. This is because it's a powerful item, and Epic doesn’t want you to have too many of them.
