Peter Griffin has arrived in Fortnite and he is deadly (and not just his dance moves). You can earn some great loot from him, such as a Society Medallion, so here's where to find him and defeat him.
Where to find Peter Griffin in Fortnite
Peter Griffin is an NPC Boss in Fortnite Chapter 5 located at the Snooty Steppes POI on the southwestern side of the map. He is holed up in the main building there on the far western side, where you can also find the vault. However, he can wander outside as well. This location is crowded with various buildings, allowing for a quick escape if necessary, but you will also find plenty of Society Guards.
How to defeat Peter Griffin in Fortnite
Like other Chapter 5 bosses, Peter can be particularly difficult to beat, not only because of the many guards protecting him but because he can restore his shield to max. I found it much easier to defeat him by taking out the guards around him first since they are much easier to take down. Plus, scan the area quickly to make sure there aren't any nearby players approaching.
I suggest gearing up heavily before confronting him. You will need shield and lots of ammo (possibly multiple types of weapons as well). The Ballistic Shield is very helpful for dealing damage while also protecting yourself and knocking him back as needed. He will do a little dance about half health and restore all his shield, so you will also want to have fast-firing weapons, like an SMG. The faster you can take down his shield, the faster you can defeat him.
What does Peter Griffin drop in Fortnite?
Defeating Peter may not be an easy task but it is well worth it. He will drop not only a legendary weapon, Peter Griffin's Hammer Pump Shotgun, but a Society Medallion. The Society Medallion will allow you to gain shield continuously as you long have it on you, but take it at your own risk. Your location will also be exposed to other players.
If you want to take a shot at defeating Peter Griffin, you can gain some really great loot that could help you earn a Victory Royale. It's just going to take some diligence.
