There are many places where the device from Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 can be found. However, we think it's most convenient to land in the center of the map since it is the easiest place to find a device.
The location resembles an outpost of the Seven. Enter the most Western building and look to your right to find the device. The device will be inside a small briefcase. All you have to do is interact with it. A recorded message will inform the player that they are part of a battle plan.
The recorded message is the scientist (who many people think is Joel McHale):
"Hey, Scientist here. Am I the smartest, handsomest member of The Seven? A lot of people say yes. With the best hair? Don't answer that. Hold onto this device. As we prepare our battle plan, we'll have work for you.
When you complete this quest, you can move on to the remaining challenges available during Week 1 of the season. Once you've completed these quests, you'll earn tons of XP, which will help you unlock Spider-Man. Also, pay attention to your Shanta quests, such as obtaining Gem Fragments from gas stations and acquiring Gem Fragments from Seven Vaults.
