Where to spend Gold Bars in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2

Players collect Gold Bars by eliminating other players, looting chests and other containers, and completing specific tasks and quests. Whether you need to spend them for the Milestone quest or simply at your leisure, there are multiple different places and ways to spend them. You may be able to buy your way to that Victory Royale. Here's where you can spend those bars.

NPCs

• Hire Companion: NPCs will allow you to pay Gold Bars for them to accompany you throughout the match, until you are downed or they are slain themselves.
• Reveal Storm: NPCs will show you where the storm will end up in the next few phases, giving you a headstart into the inner circle.
• Activate Rift: NPCs will open a rift right on top of you, allowing you to teleport away from the location and glide where you want to go.
• Buy Weapon: NPCs can carry mythic and exotic weapons that you can buy from them with your Gold Bars. These usually have really good abilities attached to them, like the Boom Sniper or Storm Scout Sniper.
• Prop Disguise: NPCs will shapeshift you into a prop, which you can shift into a different shape of your liking. These disguises make it easy to hide from enemies but only last till you are shot or deactivate them.

Vending Machines

• Weapon-O-Matic: These vending machines allow you to purchase a weapon from them with Gold Bars. They can be varied rarities up to Epic. If it's malfunctioning, it could even drop a random Legendary.
• Mending Machine: You can purchase healing supplies at these machines, such as bandages, medkits and even quick healing method that automatically boosts your HP for you.

Donate Board

• Donate to the Armored Bus: An alternative way to spend your bars is to head over to the new donate board located at Synapse Station. You can donate some bars toward the Armored Bus. It could potentially enter the game as a speciality vehicle of some sort, but only if the donation goal is met.
