How to buy and sell cars in Forza Horizon 5

Won a car that you don't like in a Wheelspin? Sell it!

Forza Horizon 5 has no shortage of cars. Pick just about any car manufacturer on the planet, and you will most likely see them in Forza Horizon's roster! Most of the time to get new cars, however, you need to buy them, which costs credits! So here is how to sell cars, as well as buy them in Forza Horizon 5.

Buying New Cars

If you want to straight-up buy a new car, then it is nice and simple. Go to either one of the Horizon Outposts or one of your Houses. Go to the Buy and Sell tab and click on Autoshow to buy some fresh, new whips.

Buying/Selling Used Cars

If you want to buy or sell used cars, it is a slightly different method. For this, you will still want to go to the buy and sell tab, but this time you will want to click on Auction House.

When in the auction house, you can search Auctions to look for used cars at lower prices or go to Start Auction to start selling your own cars. Do note that any cars given as loyalty rewards will not be able to be sold, as once they are gone, you cannot get them back.

Once you have clicked into start auction, you will see that you can pick the duration of your auction, the starting bid, and the buyout price. This is so you don't necessarily have to wait for people to bid over your car if someone likes the price you have set to purchase it outright.

Selling cars can be a bit hit and miss, just like when you sell things online in real life. Sometimes a car will go within minutes, and other times players can sit it there for days, so just be aware that it can take a while at times.
