Scarabs are found in the Hypostyle Desert. They can be spotted by looking for the mud ball they slowly roll across the ground. They are also frequently found underground in the Scarlet King's ruins.
Local specialties take 48 hours to respawn once gathered. This is based on the time of gathering and not on server reset time.
