To obtain Sturdy Shells you'll need to find and destroy Consecrated Beasts at level 40 or higher. The higher the level of the Consecrated Beasts you destroy, the more items they will drop.
You can also trade in Stardust for Sturdy Shells. It costs fifteen Stardust for one Sturdy Shell on the Stardust exchange.
Consecrated Beasts can be found around the Desert of Hadramaveth. Refer to the images below for exact locations:
The sturdy shell of a Consecrated Beast. The remains of a ruinous beast that once gnawed at the flesh of great, fallen beings. Even should the beasts sup a sliver of power from the gods of yesteryear, they too will greet the same end as said gods.
