Genshin Impact: Bug allows you to have a party of 5

An interesting new bug has been found in Genshin Impact, which actually turns into an amazing new feature.

A new bug has been found in Genshin Impact that actually allows you to have an active party of 5 characters. On the Genshin Impact subreddit, user FaydeCSGO shows off how the bug can be achieved. However, it can only be accomplished on PC, but it's quite tricky with a lot of steps involved, so we'll run you through them!

  • Step one on the agenda, kill whoever you want to become the 5th character. The quickest way to do this is jumping off a tall cliff.
  • In the second step, you have to hit the dead character's number by their portrait- and alt-click the main menu at the same time; this is truly the hardest step to fulfill.
  • The third step is to change the dead character in slot 1 to a new character, any character, but preferably one you want to use.
  • The fourth step is to eat any food that revives a character from death, such as an egg, a steak, etc.

If done correctly, if you check on the right side of your screen, you should now have a 5th active field member who you can freely switch between! Watch this bug in action below to see how to do it though it's pretty difficult to pull off!

This gives players a wider range of gameplay options, as now you can combine 5 different elements to create more damage-dealing elemental combos and reactions. It's actually a pretty amazing bug, but alas, we don't suspect it being in the game for much longer, especially when update 1.1 is just around the corner. You might possibly have up until the 11th of November to use the bug to its full potential, yet we might see a hotfix tomorrow for it; who knows!
