In-game model renders of upcoming Hydro characters Kamisato Ayato and Yelan have been leaked — Genshin Impact

For the past few months, two characters that were hinted at in earlier snippets from Liyue and Inazuma, Yelan and Kamisato Ayato, have been all the rave in the Genshin Impact community. While Kamisato Ayato's official image was recently released by HoYoverse themselves, the community has been waiting for the Version 2.6 beta to start to catch a glimpse of his in-game model.

Meanwhile, little is known about Yelan's appearance and character. She has always been tied to a vague photo from an earlier event cutscene, but nothing has been confirmed. Recently, renders of in-game models pulled from the Version 2.6 beta files were leaked, revealing what the two characters could possibly look like. Kamisato Ayato

Kamisato Ayato's rendered model looks just as expected: Western clothing mixed with hints of Inazuman fashion. He's expected to be a five-star Hydro sword user, but details of his kit have yet to be revealed by leakers. Based on leaks, Ayato's movements are sharp and calculated, with an Elemental Skill that forms a Hydro copy of himself. Meanwhile, his Burst creates a field of Hydro flowers.

Yelan

On Liyue's side, a possible image of Yelan first appeared during the Moonlight Merriment event cutscene. However, the leaked render of her in-game model looks nothing like the image-in-question. Yelan is expected to be a Hydro bow user, but her rarity remains unconfirmed. She's shown to sport a short bob and a skin-tight outfit, as well as a fur-lined coat over her shoulders.
