The Nilotpala Lotus is a Sumeru local specialty that can be used as a character Ascension material. These hydrological plants are similar to Liyue's Lotus, as they live near riverbanks and shallow bodies of water. Like Glaze Lilies, Nilotpala Lotuses change forms depending on the time of the day. They turn into buds when the sun is out and bloom once the moon rises, but can be collected in either form.

What is the best place to farm Nilotpala Lotuses in Genshin Impact?
While Lunar Lotuses are easy to spot anywhere in Sumeru, you may find it easiest to run around the Avidya Forest and Andravi Valley, as there are plenty of Nilotpala Lotuses around these areas. While you're searching for Nilotpala Lotuses, keep in mind that the blue petals will cover up the yellow part of the flowers in the daytime, so they will look like tulips in the water. At night, the yellow part of the flower will be more visible.
