Gotham Knights is a game set in the Batman universe, where you can play as one of his successors. It's very similar to the Arkham series, which probably makes you wonder if the Gotham Knights game is a sequel to Arkham Knight. It's an excellent question, as both games share many mechanics, especially the combat part. That puts the GK game as a true spiritual successor of the Arkham series. It even goes further as new Knighthood characters have distinct fighting styles.
Apart from game mechanics, the game's atmosphere is very Batman-like, which means Gotham Knights lean heavily on World's Greatest Detective, although he's not part of the game. So, if you're looking for that Arkham experience, you should give Gotham Knights a shot.
