There are a lot of great weapons featured in Granblue Fantasy Relink. Most of them will serve their purpose, but you need a tier list for the best weapons in Granblue Fantasy Relink to know the best of them.

Each playable character, and there are 20 of them, has six weapons. There are weapons that they get at the beginning of the game; four of them can be obtained by forging at Blacksmith, and there are ultimate weapons that are rare drops on Proud difficulty. We ranked the weapons by their effectiveness in battle and rarity.

S-Tier

  • Sword of Bahamut - The Sword of Bahamut is the ultimate Id's weapon in the game. It is a rare drop after defeating Bahamut on Proud difficulty. Sword of Bahamut's traits are Regen and Catastrophe, and even the base form of this weapon is stronger than maxed-out versions of other weapons.
  • Ameno Habakiri - This sword is Narmaya's Terminus weapon, the strongest weapon for this character. She can obtain it the same way as Id: defeating a boss on Proud difficulty. This legendary sword regenerates Narmaya's health and boosts her damage output.

A-Tier

  • Ascalon - Ascalon is the best Siegfried weapon that can be obtained by forging. It takes five types of ingredients to make it, and it gives a massive attack bonus. The only better weapon for Siegfried is a Terminus weapon, and they are very hard to find.
  • Knight of Ice - This is Lancelot's Ascension weapon, and it's the best forgeable weapon for this character. Ascension weapons give a major attack bonus and control the element of Ice. Lancelot's Terminus weapon is the only one better for him than Knight of Ice.

B-Tier

  • Asura - Asura is Yodarha's Ascension weapon. You can forge it at Blacksmith after you finish the story and unlock the Extreme difficulty. Asura's main trait is stun, and it gives additional Stun points to Yodarha's attacks. It is a mighty weapon, but not up to weapons in A-Tier.
  • Flame Rapier - Flame Rapier is Katalina's weapon that can be unlocked in the chest during Chapter 5. This is a Stunner weapon, and Catalina can boost it up to level 150. Flame Rapier is the best weapon for Katalina that can be found relatively easily. Still, it's no match to Katalina's Ascension weapon.

C-Tier

  • Cortana - Cortana is Rosetta's weapon, and it is an Executioner class of weapons. Rosetta can forge it at Blacksmith in Seedhollow, but it requires a lot of rare items. It is still worse than Rosetta's B-Tier weapon, but Cortana is a worthy weapon with a Weak Point Damage boost.
  • Ultima Sword - This is the Captain's Executioner weapon, and the Captain can obtain it by forging it, though it takes a lot of precious materials. Ultima Sword is a great weapon with a Weak Point Damage boost, but it is still not good enough for upper tiers.

D-Tier

  • Traveler's Sword - This is the first weapon for The Captain, and they begin the game with it. As expected, it's not a very strong weapon, and it boosts defense. Although you can upgrade the Traveler's Sword, it still gets beaten even by C-Tier weapons.
  • Dreyse - Dreyse is Eugen's starting weapon. This weapon's trait is HP, so it extends Eugen's health. It is a solid weapon for the beginning of the game and very prone to upgrade, but it is still the weakest of Eugen's six weapons in the game.
