How to open your inventory and eat food in Greak: Memories of Azur?

Nom nom nom

Greak is incredibly squishy in Greak: Memories of Azur. You only start with four life points, so that means in four hits or less, you're going to die. There are ways to recover your health, and one of those ways to get your precious health back in Greak: Memories of Azur is to eat food.

Food and ingredients are stored in your minimal inventory space. To open up your inventory, you have to hold down LB on controller, or F on keyboard, not just press it. Time does not pause either while you look at the inventory screen, so always do it somewhere safe, unless there's a chance of getting attacked.

How to eat food in Greak: Memories of Azur?

To choose the food you want to digest, move left or right on the d-pad or left or right using the arrow keys on the keyboard. When highlighting an item, it will tell you what it does, such as regenerates one life point. Then once you know what food you want, press A or Enter. Life does not refill instantly, it regenerates, and this takes a couple of seconds. So do not eat, then go charging into battle. You need to be patient and wait a few moments before your health is back up to full.

Your health is shown by yellow circles in the top left-hand cover of your screen, to the top right-hand side of Greaks avatar. A full yellow circle presents one life point. If a circle is grey with a crack in it, this point is gone and needs to be replenished with food.
