How to manually install Workshop items in Project Zomboid

The next method to install Workshop items is to find and edit the server ini inside the Project Zomboid folder. That said, you can find the server folder by locating it on your main hard drive, as shown below.

  • C:\Users\yourpcname:D\Zomboid

Inside this folder, look for a folder called server, and find your server's config file. When you find the config file, open it up in a notepad and look for two settings, mod, and Workshop.

Under the Workshop setting, you will want to add a mod's Workshop ID as shown below, followed by a semicolon.

  • WorkshopItems=2478247379;2566953935

If you don't know how to find a Workshop ID, you can usually find it by going to the mod's Workshop page and finding it in the mod description, as shown below.

Now for the other setting you need to edit, you will need to add the mod's name followed by a semicolon, as shown below.

  • Mods=67commando;86oshkoshP19A;92amgeneralM998

You can also find the mod name ID by searching for it on the mod's Workshop page mod description.

When you finish editing the file, just save the config and restart your server, and the mods will be installed.
