What's needed to upgrade Kirby's Copy Abilities

After you get a new Copy Ability, which happens when you inhale specific enemies you hadn't inhaled yet, it will appear on display in Waddle Dee's Shop. You'll need three things to upgrade Kirby's Copy abilities once they're put on display:

  • Rare Stones - Get these by completing Treasure Road stages for each Copy Ability and Mouthful Mode. These stages will appear after you complete the main ones, but you'll need to search for hidden Mouthful Mode stages by investigating the overworld.
  • Copy Ability Blueprints - These are hidden through the worlds and stages. As instructions, they correspond to each of Kirby's Copy Abilities. Once you get these, the Copies Abilities will be available for upgrade.
  • Star Coins - Find these in any stage, especially when you uncover hidden nooks, crannies, and items. You can also get Star Coins with Nintendo's Present Codes at Waddle Dee-liveries, unlocked once you save 50 Waddle Dees.
