After its big reveal during the E3 2021 Bethesda and Xbox Showcase, avid fans of Microsoft's Halo franchise were hyped to see Halo: Infinite is being released during the holiday season of 2021.
One of the biggest pieces of information we learned was that there will be a free multiplayer mode for players to enjoy outside of the main campaign. With the growing trend amongst all games of including bots in multiplayer matches, many of us are wondering if this will be the case for Halo: Infinite.
From what has been revealed so far, we can confirm that bots will be in Halo: Infinite in specific modes. However, there is no solid answer on whether or not you'll be playing against them in online matches. Players will have access to Academy Mode upon the game's release, which is an online mode where you can practice against AI-controlled opponents (bots) and develop different techniques and play styles.
Although this is somewhat speculative, it seems that bots will not be in Multiplayer matches that pits teams against each other. If there is, it might create an unfair advantage for teams, since bots typically have a lower skill level than actual players. There have been rumors that there may be a Battle Royale mode, which would be more likely to include bots, but this is also unconfirmed information.
That's everything we know so far about whether we'll see AI opponents!
