Halo Infinite Ranking System, Explained

Do you have what it takes?

Halo Infinite is an arena-based shooter and offers players a variety of game types to play. These are broken up into three different lobbies. There is Quick Play which offers a variety of 4v4 game types, Big Team Battles which is an 8v8 game mode, and then there is Ranked.

Ranked is where competitive players will find themselves. While Quick Play and Big Team Battle are more casual, Ranked will keep score and track your games. Performing well will increase your rank, and you rise through Halo Infinite's different ranks. There are six ranks to achieve in Halo Infinite. These are:

  • Bronze I - IV
  • Silver I - IV
  • Gold I - IV
  • Platinum I - IV
  • Diamond I - IV
  • Onyx

The Bronze through Diamond ranks also features six levels ranging from I to VI that players must progress through before reaching the next rank. The player must play ten placement matches before being assigned a rank.

Ranked matches are played without radar in the game modes Slayer, CTF, Oddball, and Strongholds. All players start with the BR75 Battle Rifle with static item spawns. Friendly fire is active, and grenade hit markers have been disabled. Players will need to rely on skill and teamwork to rank up in Halo Infinite.
