After the lukewarm reception of Halo 5, players are itching to hop back into the multiplayer mayhem Halo is known for. How many maps can players expect when the game launches in December?

There has been no official announcement on the total number of maps in Halo Infinite. Still, an unconfirmed data miner report suggests that up to 23 maps will debut alongside Halo Infinite. The confirmed maps for Halo Infinite as of Nov. 2, 2021, are:

  • Bazaar
  • Behemoth
  • Fragmentation
  • Live Fire
  • Recharge

Halo Infinite will feature an array of maps, some for more classic matches of modes like Slayer and others made for BTB or Big Team Battle matches.

It's also important to note that Forge, the famous mapmaker from the Halo franchise, will return with a post-launch update once the team at 343 Industries feels it is ready.

While Microsoft and 343 Industries have only disclosed a handful of maps coming to Halo Infinite, more information is sure to come in the following weeks, as Halo Infinite launches Dec. 8, 2021, for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
