After its big reveal during the E3 2021 Bethesda and Xbox Showcase, avid fans of Microsoft's Halo franchise were hyped to see Halo: Infinite is being released during the holiday season of 2021.
Players following news for Halo: Infinite were finally given plenty more detail about the game during the E3 2021 Xbox & Bethesda Showcase. One of the most interesting things we learned about was something called Academy Mode for the game. Since this is a first for the franchise, many of us are wondering exactly what it is.
Summed up, Academy Mode is a training mode for players to improve their skills and learn how to play the game. The developers acknowledged that since this is an entirely new generation of players for the Halo franchise, many might need help learning the ropes and developing techniques to use between the large selection of weapons and tools available. So, they designed an entire training for those players.

Academy Mode will feature Bots (AI-controlled opponents) for players to use as target practice and to help them develop their playstyle. Bots in Academy Mode can have their difficulty, frequency, and weapons altered to help players learn how to adapt to any combat situation.
From what we can see so far, it looks like Academy Mode will be good for new players and veteran players alike!
