Hearthstone is coming out with its final expansion of the Year of the Phoenix with Madness at the Darkmoon Faire! This will be bringing a whole lot of new cards, mechanics, and new things that will shake up the meta! With just about every expansion that comes to Hearthstone, it brings a whole lot of new decks and ways to play, so there is no doubt that this will do the same. You can expect the release of this fairly soon, so make sure you've got your gold and wallet ready to dump on some packs!
Darkmoon Faire is set to release on November 17th, 2020 and will release 135 new cards into the game! The new Hearthstone: Duels game mode will also be dropping on the 17th, but you can play it early if you pre-purchase the expansion.
New Mechanic: Corrupt
With each expansion, we generally get a new mechanic, and for Darkmoon Faire that is no different. Corrupt is the new addition to the game, and what it does is if you cast a higher cost card in your hand than a card with Corrupt on it, it will then become corrupt and get a big upgrade! So, you are rewarded for holding onto corrupt cards until you can cast a higher cost card to get the bonus!
