The Lunar New Year has brought back the Luna Blessing Tavern Brawl in Hearthstone. It's been a year since the last brawl, and this time, it's PvP with the format of Wild. The most control you have over this brawl is your class and the Chinese Zodiac animals you select.
Pick the Blessing of the Rat; there's no competition. Whenever a minion with 3 Mana or less is summoned, it receives Reborn. If you're new to the game, that's pretty much half your deck. Due to how much health it costs to destroy a minion, this will ensure victory every time.

In some ways, Reborn is similar to Divine Shield. When a minion is destroyed, it is resummoned with 1 Health, meaning the enemy minion needs to hit your minion and lose health again. Despite being reborn, minions keep their original maximum health, so you can technically increase their health if you want to. A minion that has been Reborn will regain its Reborn effect if played again after being returned to the hand.
Because this Blessing lasts for the entire game, your opponent is forced to destroy minions twice every time you summon one. This is particularly frustrating, since your mana regenerates faster each turn.
All blessings from Lunar Blessings Tavern Brawl
The Blessings of the Rat have already been covered, but there are a few more blessings to choose from. We'll post them here, so you don't have to waste time in-game choosing.
- Blessing of the Ox - Whenever you summon a minion, give it +3 Health.
- Blessing of the Tiger - Whenever you summon a minion, give it +1 Attack.
- Blessing of the Rabbit - Whenever you summon a minion that costs 3 Mana or less, give it Rush.
- Blessing of the Dragon - Whenever you cast a spell, add a random Dragon to your hand.
- Blessing of the Snake - Whenever you summon a minion that costs 3 Mana or less, give it Stealth.
- Blessing of the Horse - Your spells cost 1 Mana less.
- Blessing of the Sheep - At the start of your turn, restore 3 Health to a damaged friendly character.
- Blessing of the Monkey - At the end of your turn, transform a random friendly minion into one that costs 1 Mana more.
- Blessing of the Rooster - Whenever you use your Hero Power, deal 2 damage to a random enemy.
- Blessing of the Dog - Whenever you summon a minion, give it Deathrattle: Summon a 1/1 Mastiff.
- Blessing of the Pig - Whenever you summon a minion, add a Coin to your hand.
The Blessing of the Dog appears similar, but your reborn minions return with the same attack value, which can be high if your cards are good.
