Hello Neighbor 2 Bakery cash register puzzle guide – Day 2

Cha-ching.

Hello Neighbor 2 is an escalation of the original game's unique puzzle-solving stealth experience with a variety of intricate new details. The new title offers plenty of new environments to explore. The second chapter takes place in a bakery, which hides the key to investigating the possible location of the game's main villain. You'll have to fix the establishment's broken cash register to get that key. You just have to know where to look to find all the missing numbers.

Where to find all the register numbers in Hello Neighbor 2

The cash register is missing four numbered buttons, specifically the numbers one, five, six, and seven. Each is hidden somewhere in the bakery, guarded by its powerful owner. Unlike the game's first environment, it's easier to start on the bakery's second floor. Use the white ladder to the right of the front door to climb to the first-floor roof, then climb to the second-story from there. Then jump down to the balcony on the right side of the building to enter the second floor.

The easiest number to grab is on the second floor. You'll notice a clock with a missing hour hand on your left as you enter the room. On your right, you'll notice a huge tapestry of a heart on the wall. Approach the prominent patch on the heart and cut it using your scissors. The patch holds the hour hand. Put it back on the clock. You'll notice a digital clock in the room that reads 10:35, as does every other clock in the bakery. Change the wall clock to the same time, and it'll open up, revealing the seven button.

On the balcony you used to enter the second floor, you may have noticed another button hidden in a bush. It's the bush in the center, underneath the large orange pipe. To retrieve the button, you'll have to prune that bush down to nothing. However, it keeps growing back every time you use the scissors. To stop it, head to the side door just beneath the balcony. Enter it and sneak into the door on your left. Turn left once you enter that room and take the large red wheel. Head back to the second floor via the balcony, enter the bathroom you saw just behind the clock, and use that wheel to turn on the boiler. After doing that, you can shear that shrub and take the five it hides.

The next button is hidden beneath the cat that guards the side door. You'll notice it meowing every time you pass by, but if you interact with it, it'll only scratch you. You need to feed it. You'll have to sneak up on the baker and steal the key from her back pocket. This is doable if you move slowly and sprint out of the building as soon as you get the key. Use that key on the fridge in the room where you found the red wheel. The fridge's middle shelf holds a large cat treat. Put it in the cat's bowl and it'll get up to eat, freeing you to grab the one it was sitting on. You can even pet the cat after it's been fed.

The final piece requires the longest series of steps. It's in a locked book on the second floor, near the staircase. The key is frozen solid inside the icebox next to the door to the same staircase. Grab the block of ice and throw it into the oven to melt it. You'll then need the fire extinguisher on the wall on your left to put out the fire. Be careful here, if the baker comes down while you're doing this, she can get stuck in a loop reaching for the key in the oven. If this happens, you'll have to intentionally draw her attention and potentially waste a lot of time.

Once the fire is out, you can grab the key, head upstairs, and unlock the book. Once you have all four buttons, you must put them back and guess the code. The code is 1-5-7-6. Enter those numbers, then take the key from the register. Always remember to put the buttons in their proper place as soon as you find them. If you get caught, you'll drop whatever you have, but if they're on the register, then your progress is safe.
