Hogwarts is full of mysteries, puzzles, secrets, and magical experiences. Many of these are original to the game, but some come from the Harry Potter books and films. One that fans may be wondering about is the Chamber of Secrets, home to the deadly Basilisk. This leaves the question of where to find the Chamber of Secrets and Basilisk in Hogwarts Legacy.

Can you go to the Chamber of Secrets in Hogwarts Legacy?

Sadly, the Chamber of Secrets is not accessible in Hogwarts Legacy. You can go to the entrance of the secret hiding place of the Basilisk, but you cannot go further as there is no way to learn Parseltongue or be a descendant of Salazar Slytherin.

There is an easter egg when inspecting the faucet, called the Slytherin Sink, where someone has carved an emblem of a snake. You can also cast the Revelio spell here to find a Field Guide Page. This will give more information about the snake carving. Here is how to find the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets in Hogwarts Legacy.

Is the Basilisk in Hogwarts Legacy?

Despite your inability to visit the Chamber of Secrets in Hogwarts Legacy, you can find the Basilisk. However, only Slytherin students will be able to find this easter egg. We don't know yet what triggers this easter egg, but Hogwarts Legacy player CastielJA discovered it and took it to Twitter to share it.

In the video, you can see the Basilisk, or a very large snake, slithering through a hallway in the Slytherin dormitory. While the method to find this isn't known, it appears that you must at least be in the Slytherin dormitory at night for it to trigger.
