What spell to use to slow a Loyalist Assassin in Hogwarts Legacy

The Loyalist Assassins are fast goblins who use unblockable blade attacks to overwhelm you. To slow a Loyalist Assassin, equip the Arresto Momentum spell and cast it on them.

Loyalist Assassins can counter combos if you do not use Arresto Momentum on them first, so it is a great strategy to use Arresto Momentum in fights with them. Their unblockable attack is very fast, but you can quickly defeat them by using Arresto Momentum, then high-damage spells like Bombarda, Confringo, or any others.

To unlock the Arresto Momentum spell, you must progress far enough into the story to get Madam Kogawa's Assignment 2. After completing it, she will teach you the Arresto Momentum Spell.

Completing Dueling Feats can be challenging if you do not know what spells to use. If you are looking for more ways to complete more Dueling Feats, check out how you can bury an Acromantula's head in the ground, slice a levitating Dugbog, and more.
