How to craft a Campfire in Icarus

Keep warm.

In Icarus, the Campfire is one of the first items you'll need in the game. It is essential for keeping your character warm, using your bedroll, and cooking food to make it edible. However, the game doesn't provide explicit details on how to craft one. This guide will tell you how.

The most important thing to know is that you need the following resources to craft a Campfire:

  • Fiber (8): Obtained by harvesting bushes.
  • Stick (8): Obtained by harvesting small trees.
  • Stone (24): Obtained by harvesting rocks on the ground or by mining large stones.

When you have the resources above, you will need to make sure the Campfire is researched in your tech tree. If it isn't, you must gain enough experience to go up a level and research it. You can enter your tech tree by pressing P on the keyboard.

After you've researched the Campfire, you are now ready to craft it. Go to your crafting screen by pressing O on your keyboard. Select the Campfire to craft it, then press Craft. An example of this can be seen in the image above.

After you have crafted your Campfire, you can place it by dragging it from your inventory to your hotbar. Then, select the Campfire in your hotbar and place it in a valid spot. Once that's done, you're ready to cook some meat!
