Where to find gold ore in Icarus

The multiplayer survival game Icarus has numerous resources players can find. These will be instrumental for surviving. Some resources can be harder to find than others. One resource that will become important later on in Icarus is gold. You might be wondering where to find gold in Icarus.

To find gold ore in Icarus, you will need to find and search caves. Gold ore can be found at open caves or hidden caves and can be just outside the cave by the entrance. Once you find gold ore, you simply need to mine it with a pickaxe. Strike it with your pickaxe until you have depleted the ore vein.

Without a pickaxe, you will not be able to mine the gold and can only admire its luster. You should be mining and picking up gold ore to use later on in electronics such as the flashlight. These tools and gear can be quite handy as you progress.

Gold can be extremely hard to find in caves, but we have had some luck in the massive cave system in the M9. Be careful though, these caves tend to have hostile creatures residing within them.
