How to get through the flipped rooms and solve the furnace puzzle in INDIKA

One of the most confusing puzzles I've encountered in the game is a series of three rooms that loop every time you go through a door. Here's how to get through the flipped rooms in INDIKA correctly so that you can actually leave.

First, you had to go through an upside-down house, and now you've encountered flipped rooms in INDIKA. The rooms in alternate Russia don't really know how to stay the right side up.

Did I spend ages doing the wrong thing while trying to leave these rooms? Perhaps, but that's why I made the mistakes so you don't have to. Here is exactly what you need to do if you want to get out of there as soon as possible.

How to leave the looped rooms in INDIKA

  • Indika in the furnace room in INDIKA
  • The storage on wheels you can move in the flipped rooms in INDIKA
  • Indika moving the storage on wheels to climb to the second flipped room in INDIKA

Once you reach a room with a furnace, big wire storage for wood, and thick pipes, you're officially in a loop. The first room is normal, but once you move the storage on wheels to climb through the door up on the wall, you'll see the next room is the same exact one, just flipped on its side.

The door in the second room is on the floor, and you can jump through it. However, the way the third room is flipped means you'll fall straight into the furnace and die. So how do you get out? It's actually pretty simple. Anything you move in the first room will move in the other two rooms as well. You'll also catch glimpses of the devil moving through the doorways you move (the first actual sighting of him in the game).

You need to move the wire storage on wheels into the right position. At first, I tried to place it so that I could climb up to the second room, but I was wasting my time. It doesn't matter where the storage is in the second room; it's the third room that matters.

  • Indika pushing the storage on wheels into the correct position in the flipped rooms in INDIKA
  • The storage in the perfect position in the first flipped room in INDIKA
  • The storage blocking the furnace in the third flipped room in INDIKA

Go back to the first room and move the on-wheel storage between the two immovable ones, then go back to the second room. When you look down the hole into the third room, you'll see that the storage is now blocking your fall into the furnace. This means you can jump down without dying.

Once you are in the third room, head to the left and jump down the thick pipes until you reach the ground floor and Ilya, who is waiting for you in the doorway.
