How to power up Generators in Industries of Titan

They unfortunately don't work right out of the box.

In Industries of Titan, Energy helps the world go around. It is a vital resource that powers devices, Habitat Pods, and Monetization Stations but is not free to use. Generators are devices that convert Fuel to Energy, allowing you to provide power to nearby buildings. Even if you build a Generator, it does not function properly until you connect it to a specific device. Come join us as we explain how to power up Generators in Industries of Titan.

When you first place a Generator, it will not power other devices until it is connected to a Relay. To build one of these devices, open the Energy tab in the Devices menu, then select a small or large Relay. Placement is crucial when it comes to Relays, since you want it to be in range of both a Generator and a device that requires power. It is also wise to place a Battery near the Relay, so it can provide backup power if necessary.

This is an example of a functioning power grid, where the two highlighted spaces are Relays. The northern Relay is directly connected to the Generator and a Battery. This Relay is then connected to a second, southern Relay. This extends the power range, helping energy reach the Habitat Pods and Monetization Station near the edges of the grid. If you'd like to send energy to nearby buildings, you should build an Energy Bridge and place it within the power grid.
