Ursula is one of the main story bosses in Kingdom Hearts 1.5 ReMix and can be found in Atlantica as Sora, Donald, and Goofy search for King Triton's stolen trident. The battle itself is broken down into two phases, including two additional foes, Flotsam, and Jetsam. The second phase, which takes place in an undisclosed location near Calm Depths, involves tackling a supersized version of the notorious sea witch.
- Location: Atlantica
- Ursula's Lair - Phase One
- ??? - Phase Two
- Suggested Level: 35 or higher
- Reward: Thundara, Ansem's Report 3
Phase One
Rather than using the stolen trident in the first phase of the battle, Ursula will use her two eel lackeys, Flotsam, and Jetsam. However, you won't be able to take either of them down, as Ursula revives them after a short delay. Instead, your goal is to target the cauldron in the center of Ursula's Lair.
To inflict damage on Ursula, you must first cast magic on the spewing cauldron. Fortunately, the cauldron projects color-changing beams of light. Simply cast Fire on it when it gleams red and Blizzard when it's blue. After hitting it with enough magic, Ursula will go limp for a brief period of time, giving you a few moments to land as many physical attacks with your Keyblade as possible.
Of course, the only real trouble with the first phase is Ursula's spinning attack. A significant amount of damage can be inflicted if hit, meaning you should use your Mermaid Kick to avoid it.

Phase Two
The second phase is slightly tougher, as Ursula uses King Triton's trident to make herself supersized. Luckily for you, Sora, Donald, and Goofy possess the power to fly, meaning you won't have to bash a single tentacle in from the seafloor.
Unlike the first phase, the second bout is all about attacking Ursula up close and personal. However, reaching her head, the primary target, will mean dodging various lightning orbs. The first line of defense here is the Mermaid Kick, which you can use to move around the arena and dodge whatever attacks Ursula hurls at you. This is also effective when Ursula inhales in an attempt to pull you in. Use Mermaid Kick to retreat to the back of the arena.
Try to get around to the back of her neck, using physical attacks and magic to drain the HP. Just remember, if Ursula begins to inhale, quickly pull back using Mermaid Kick and wait for it to end. Return to the back of the neck and continue laying down a mixture of attacks. Rinse and repeat, and you shouldn't have too much trouble.
