Who are the cloaked Figures at the end of the Kingdom Hearts 4 trailer?

Very spooky and mysterious.

The Heartless are invading Quadratum in Kingdom Hearts 4 and it's up to Sora to stop them. However, while the battle rages on the streets of Shibuya, mysterious hooded figures look on from high atop a skyscraper.

Hooded figures are nothing new to the Kingdom Hearts universe. They can be traced back to the teaser trailer at the end of the first game. Though these figures likely are the same. The safe money is on them being Luxu and Master of Masters.

The Master of Masters is a Keyblade Master who initially appeared in Kingdom Hearts X. While their true motivations aren't completely clear, they've been at the center of several major events within the lore of the series. What is clear is their staunch opposition to the Darkness.

Luxu is a Keyblade Master and apprentice to the Master of Masters. His role was to watch over events with his keyblade in order for the Master of Masters to write the Book of Prophecies. Much like the Master of Masters, Luxu first appeared in Kingdom Hearts X.
