Kirby fans will be happy to see our little pink puffball as strong as ever with the many skills he has in this new entry into the franchise. Players will be able to utilize two different transfiguration features in this game, Mouthful Modes and Copy Abilities. The difference between Mouthful Modes and Copy Abilities stands that the former allows Kirby to attach to and take the form of inanimate objects while the latter allows him to mimic the abilities of the creatures he inhales. Players can find Blueprints throughout the game that allow them to upgrade these Copy Abilities.
What do Blueprints do in Kirby and the Forgotten Land?
Mouthful Modes are not upgradable, though players will be happy to know that the basic Copy Abilities Kirby starts with can evolve into stronger ones after acquiring the necessary Blueprints. Each Blueprint is found in a specific location around the world and can be returned to the Weapon Shop in Waddle Dee Town to upgrade the Copy Abilities.
Each Copy Ability can be upgraded twice, and there are twenty-four Blueprints in total scattered around the world. In addition to Blueprints though, players will need to acquire enough Star Coins and Rare Stones in order to purchase the upgrade.
