How to get Armor in Kitaria Fables

Protect yourself!

In Kitaria Fables, players start off with no armor to protect themselves from the hordes of monsters they have to grind through. However, like many other games, you can obtain armor throughout your travels. There is a simple process for doing this, but it's barely mentioned during the tutorial, and they instead let the player figure it out for themselves. In this guide, we explain where you can go to get some protective gear.

In the beginning of the game, the only place to go to get armor is Rufus's armory in Rivero Fortress. He is the black bear that works as the town ironsmith, near the northwestern side of the fortress. In the image below, you can see what he looks like. When you approach him, the first thing you need to do is open his shop.

When you have his shop open, you'll notice that there are multiple tabs representing the different categories of his wares. Any of these tabs will have gear you can equip to boost your defense and health. The first tab has armor that protects you from physical damage, the second tab has clothing that protects you from magic damage, and the third and fourth tabs have amulets that boost other attributes. While browsing through them, you will also see that you need specific resources to buy/upgrade your gear.

Unfortunately, getting the resources you need can be a bit of a grind in Kitaria Fables. For example, to get some basic Wooden Armor, you need the following ingredients: 10 Wood, 10 Toadstools, and 2000 Paw Coins. To get the resources you need for any gear, you must farm them by slaying monsters and harvesting resources with your tools.

That summarizes how and where you can get armor!
