To increase your inventory space in Len's Island, you will need to purchase a backpack from the Tailor in the game.
Purchasing a backpack will increase the total carry capacity for all resources to 250 per stack. A backpack will also have the added bonus of one extra Hotbar slot for equipment items.
So, if you desire the backpack to increase your inventory space, you will first need to farm gold until you have a total of 75 gold.
When you have 75 gold, you will be able to purchase the backpack from the Tailor. But, If you don't have enough gold on hand to buy the backpack, don't worry as you can always farm more gold to get it.
To farm gold, we recommend using our best method: farming wood and then selling it repeatedly. Start by getting a decent ax if you haven't already, as it will help you to farm wood faster. But If you don't have a higher tier ax, just use your starting iron ax, and farm later to get a better ax.
When you get either the starting tool or any upgraded ax, start farming wood until you fill your inventory. Once you have 150 wood, head into town and sell the wood stack for 15 gold to the Lumber merchant.Â
You can also farm wood in the forest north of the town. Doing so makes the back and forth from farming wood and selling shorter.
That said, after selling the wood, just repeat the same steps again until you have 75 gold. When you get 75 gold, head to the Tailor NPC in town and buy the backpack shown above.Â
