Magic: The Gathering has been out since 1993, and as such, it has endured several changes through the years. To protect the game's balancing, there is a Standard Rotation, which applies to all 60-card decks in the Standard game mode. In order to participate in a Standard game, your deck can only contain cards from a list of recent sets. This list was officially created by Wizards of the Coast and prevents new players from having to purchase older cards to have a chance at winning. Here's a list of all MTG sets that are currently in the Standard Rotation.
All Magic The Gathering sets currently in Standard Rotation
There are currently six sets in Standard Rotation. These sets are The Brothers' War, Dominaria United, Streets of New Capenna, Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty, Innistrad: Crimson Vow, and Innistrad: Midnight Hunt. Despite the recent release of Dominaria Remastered, not all cards in the set are standard legal, since some are reprints of cards that are out of rotation.
In September 2023, the four oldest sets of this list will rotate out of Standard. When this rotation occurs, Streets of New Capenna, Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty, Innistrad: Crimson Vow, and Innistrad: Midnight Hunt will no longer be viable in Standard games. However, this rotation makes room for upcoming sets like Phyrexia: All Will Be One.

Can you still use rotated cards in other game formats?
Yes, you can use Standard cards for Modern, Pioneer, Commander, Pauper, and several other formats. One of the most popular choices is to repurpose your cards for a Commander deck, since there are hardly any set restrictions. Regardless of whether your card is a decade old or a few months old, Commander is a great way to use your non-Standard cards.
