15 - Lava Ravine

Screenshot by Pro Game Guides

Seed: -814020124

Version: Bedrock

A large ravine filled with bubbling lava cuts through this Savanna biome. To the right of the ravine is a Savanna Village with rooftops matching the bright hues of the lava. On its right is a Pillager Outpost half-generated inside of a river. If these two structures aren't enough, you'll find a second Savanna Village, a Desert Village, and a Desert Temple by walking southwest.

Key Locations and Coordinates
Lava Ravine: 1,819, 102
Savanna Village: 1,774, 132
Pillager Outpost: 1,850, 151
Savanna Village 2: 1,789, 472

14 - Arctic Exploration

Seed: -1929139722516822198

Version: Java

The ice in this Snowy Plains biome has melted away, letting you explore a sunken shipwreck next to Spawn without worry. After looting the shipwreck, you can choose between two Snowy Villages to travel to. Use one or both to gear up before taking on the Pillager Outpost on the right side of the plains. On the way, stop by an igloo and a ruined Nether Portal for some additional goodies.

Key Locations and Coordinates
Shipwreck: 20, 92
Snowy Village: 130, 6
Pillager Outpost: 344, 152
Snowy Village 2: 233, -275

13 - Two Temple Jungle

Seed: 1350317387

Version: Bedrock

This Jungle seed is home to two Jungle Temples. The first is at the edge of a river while the second is floating within a separate river and is home to a variety of birds. If you want to turn one of them into a home, I recommend the second because it has a prettier view and the water will make monsters approach more slowly. However, either can be used safely after deactivating the traps around their chests.

Key Locations and Coordinates
Jungle Temple 1: 213, 151
Jungle Temple 2: -251, 7

12 - Temple Excavation

A Pillager Outpost next to a half-buried Desert Temple.

Seed: 1101810055

Version: Bedrock

These Pillagers have set up their base near a buried Desert Temple. They have uncovered it just enough to store the rest of their treasure in its basement. Defeat the Pillagers to get the treasure out of both their outpost and the temple. Afterwards, celebrate your victory with the villagers at the nearby Desert Village.

Key Locations and Coordinates
Pillager Outpost: 200, 150
Desert Temple: 200, 185
Desert Village: 532, 83

11 - Survival Island

A small set of islands with a large continent in the discount.
Screenshot by Pro Game Guides

Seed: -319156939

Version: Bedrock

One of the most classic ways of playing Minecraft is island survival. This island contains several trees and plenty of dirt for planting saplings and raising crops. The surrounding ocean has several underwater ravines and ocean ruins to explore as well. If the original island gets too small for you, several smaller ones can be explored nearby.

Key Locations and Coordinates
Island: Spawn
Large Cold Ocean Ruin Cluster: 422, 23

10 - Starfish River

A river extending in five directions with Badlands, Desert, Dark Oak, Swamp, and Plains biomes.
Screenshot by Pro Game Guides

Seed: 2077701812

Version: Bedrock

There's no reason why you should ever have to settle for just one biome in Minecraft. This seed starts next to a starfish-shaped river with different biomes between each of its sections. There is a Badlands and a Desert to the west, Plains and a Dark Forest to the north, a Swamp to the east, and Forests to the south. The lack of structures in the area balances the large amount of biomes. The nearest one is a Pillager Outpost located south of the Swamp.

Key Locations and Coordinates
Starfish River: Spawn
Pillager Outpost: 363, 200

9 - Witch's Mansion

A Woodland Mansion inside of a Swamp.
Screenshot by Pro Game Guides

Seed: -1647193196

Version: Bedrock

The witches in this Swamp have upgraded from huts to a decked-out Mansion! Don't be fooled by the high coordinates as it is actually pretty close to Spawn. Before taking on the Mansion, explore the nearby areas to gear up. A Pillager Outpost is a short walk away if you need to practice fighting against enemies first.

Key Locations and Coordinates
Woodland Mansion: 1,480, 488
Pillager Outpost: 1,752, 296

This seed spawns you in a small Windswept Forest biome near a Savannah Village and a Swamp. The Swamp contains a witch hut, as well as a ruined portal located above a mineshaft. In addition to these resources, the area has plenty of biome diversity—the west contains a Desert biome, while the east contains Windswept Hills, Dark Forest, and Old Growth Birch Forest biomes.

This seed spawns you at the edge of a river marking the divide between the Plains oasis within a Desert biome. On the other side of the river is a ruined portal, which can quickly be looted before heading to the nearby Desert Village. Version: Java

Spawn is set on the left edge of a thin ravine, with pumpkins and other resources located nearby. Crossing the ravine and heading northeast will lead you to a Taiga Village; crossing the mountain in front of it will lead you to a second one. The mountain itself also contains a mineshaft, making the area perfect for gathering resources and starting a base!

Version: Java

This incredible seed spawns you right next to a coastal Plains Village with a port and a docked ship next to it. You can use this seed in Minecraft version 1.16 as well to get an even better ship placement! Be sure to check out the nearby cove with a ravine inside it—maybe you'll find a pirate's treasure!

Key Locations and Coordinates

Seed: 1848767226921206774

Version: Java

Right at the spawn of this seed is a Mushroom Biome and a massive Mesa Biome squished together. Starting next to these biomes is rare enough, but there are many more reasons to make this seed your next 1.17 home. More rare biomes are a short distance from spawn, like the incredible Eroded Badlands variant and the Frozen Ocean Biome. Within the Frozen Ocean biome is a shipwreck, plus there is another shipwreck inside a Savannah Village near Spawn!

Seed: 2027137130838960293

Version: Java

This seed spawns you right next to a Jungle Temple, one of the game's rarest structures. Near the spawn point is a large cliff overlooking a lake, a perfect spot to build a home. There is also a Mesa Biome a short distance away from Spawn and a village that spawns right on the border between the Jungle Biome and the Mesa Biome. All things considered, this is a perfect spawn for newcomers to the game who are fond of Jungles.

Key Locations and Coordinates
Jungle Temple: -185, 105
Desert Village: 5, 10
Plains Village: 680, 55
Taiga Village: 710, -180

2 - The Fire Temple

A Desert Temple that has merged with a Desert Village.
Screenshot by Pro Game Guides

Seed: 233276390797483

Version: Java

This seed spawns you right next to a Desert Temple. Desert Temples are not particularly rare, but what makes this one great is the fact that it spawns with an Enchanted Golden Apple in one of the chests! Near the spawn, you will find other helpful structures for starting off a new Minecraft world, such as an Ocean Monument, a Desert Village, and a ruined portal. From the spawn area, you can see a miniature Frozen Ocean Biome in the distance, which provides a pleasant aesthetic if you're fond of Ice Hills.

Key Locations and Coordinates
Desert Temple: 10, 5
Village: 5, 10
Village 2: 150, -265

An Ocean Monument surrounded by Guardians.

Seed: 1276159713567299839

Version: Java

Not many players like to spawn on a Desert Island because of the lack of resources, but this seed is worth a shot for players who want to test their Minecraft survival skills. There are two Ocean Monuments a short distance from the massive desert island you spawn on. There is also a ruined portal near one of the Ocean Monuments. Last, an interesting fishing village spans out into the water on the island.
