When does Minecraft New Year’s Celebration start and end?

Minecraft has remained one of the most popular games since it was released a decade ago. The developers and community have come together numerous times throughout this period for celebrations, collaborations, and more. As a result, Minecraft is rounding out 2021 with a special New Year's Celebration this year.

Minecraft's 2021 New Year Celebration will be held from Dec. 21, 2021, to Jan. 4, 2022. There will be giveaways, daily doorbusters, sales, and more during this time! In addition, Minecraft is celebrating the milestone of a trillion views.

Players can also grab the YouTube Creator Skin Pack from the Minecraft Marketplace. It is available for one year and features iconic YouTubers such as DShadowlady, Jazzghost, Logdotzip, and more! With this pack, players can look like their favorite creators in-game.

This is a special time for Minecraft, and the developers want to showcase that. So throughout the celebration, free maps will be released for Minecraft: Bedrock Edition and Minecraft: Java Edition. In addition to this, daily free character creator items will be dropping starting on Dec. 21. Check out the announcement below!
