Best Early Weapons, Gadgets, and Passives in MO.CO

Choosing the right weapons, gadgets, and passives makes the early game a breeze. However, the level-up system is a bit unique. Each Chaos Core you collect on missions randomly upgrades a Weapon, Gadget, or Passive, meaning your best build is often in the hands of RNG. Luckily, Chaos Cores aren't too hard to come by and the levelling is pretty even. So, with that in mind, here are some of our favourites:

Best Weapons

Each weapon comes with a unique playstyle, so experiment to find what works best for you! However, if you're looking for a great beginner-friendly choice, Techno Fists is highly recommended. It offers strong ranged and AoE damage, offering high versatility in various game modes.

Best Passives

The passives in MO.CO are the most customizable part of your build, and therefore, will vary the most depending on your goals. Equip certain passives to round out your build or to double down on one strength. For example, an AoE-focused Techno Fists build can increase its AoE range by using one of the following:

• Explode-o-Matic Trigger - Deals extra explosive damage.
• Unstable Lazer - 20% chance to deal an extra instance of damage.

Best Gadgets

Gadgets are your secondary skills, they often have some sort of cooldown mechanic that prevents you from using them as often as your main weapon. • Boombox - Great for crowd control, especially with a close-range weapon.

Before heading into a mission, visit the Cool Room to test out your build! This lets you check damage, healing numbers, and range to fine-tune your setup.

How to Get a Ride in MO.CO

Mounts make moving around the world much easier, but be careful, attacking or taking damage will dismount you! Be mindful of your surroundings while riding.

• You’ll unlock your first Ride around Level 6 after completing a quest that requires you to defeat two Saplings.

• Participate in 3X Battle Events - These events provide triple the XP, making them one of the fastest ways to level up!
