One of the most important decisions is picking your character in Naraka: Bladepoint. Each one has unique abilities that can alter your playstyle. I prefer playing more supportive, so I typically play as Kurumi, but you can play whichever character feels best to you. That said, you need to know how to use your character's skills to fully master them. Fortunately, while skills are different, using them is the same.
How to use skills in Naraka: Bladepoint
Each character has at their disposal two abilities. The first is the character's primary skill which features a shorter cooldown. The second is the character's ultimate ability which can only be used once the percentage bar fills. Here is how to use your character's skills in Naraka: Bladepoint on every platform.
- Character Skill:
- PC: F
- Xbox: Y
- PlayStation: Triangle
- Ultimate Skill:
- PC: V
- Xbox: RB + LB
- PlayStation: R1 + L1
While you only have two ability slots, there are multiple abilities that can be unlocked for every character. This is true for Character Skills and Ultimate Skills. Unlocking new abilities requires leveling up or reaching Greater Understanding. Playing with the same character consistently will allow you to unlock that character's abilities faster.
These abilities are powerful tools that can either deal large amounts of damage, heal oneself and their allies, or give the player new mobility options. Using them can secure critical fights or allow you to escape losing battles. Coordinating with your team and using your skills at the right time will increase your odds of coming out on top. This is especially true when facing off against Moonbane.
