NBA 2K24 Early Access – How to play early

The early bird gets the worm.

Every year, I have the same question for NBA 2K developers: is there a possibility of playing the game before the official launch date? As many modern games offer early access with specific game editions, I wondered if that's the case with my favorite (and only serious) basketball simulation. Here's what I learned about NBA 2K24 early access and how to play early.

Does NBA 2K24 Have Early Access?

While several NBA 2K24 Editions are available for pre-order, even the most expensive ones don't offer early play. Therefore, NBA 2K24 doesn't have an early access period. This means that you'll have to wait until September 8, 2023 to see the official launch. Of course, if you regard yourself as an NBA2K influencer, you may have a chance to try the game before everyone else. And while no game version lets you play earlier, there is a way to play NBA 2K24 early.
