If you are trying to play the new Brimstone Sands expansion for New World, you must meet a few requirements. The first requirement is that your character needs to be at least level 60. In short, Brimstone Sands is a high-level area recommended for level 60 players. Being recommended for level 60 players means all enemies you can encounter are around level 60 and deal severe damage.
Because of this, if you are below level 60, you will have trouble surviving in New World's Brimstone Sands biome. Along with the new expansion, leveling in New World is receiving a rework, making it easier to reach level 60. That said, if you want to level up fast to level 60, we recommend doing the following:
- Complete Main Quests
- Farm Side Quests
- Farm Events
- Farm Expeditions
Once you turn level 60, you are ready to meet the next requirement for Brimstone Sands. The next requirements for the Brimstone Sands Expansion are two special quests. The first one you need to complete is A Selfless Nature, which can be found in the region of Edengrove. The Selfless nature quest also unlocks when players turn level 35. That said, after the Selfless nature quest, you will need to complete another called Strider of the Sands that you can find in all regions boarding Brimstone Sands. The regions you can find the Strider of the Sands quest include the following:
- Ebonscale Reach
- Great Cleave
- Shattered Moutain
However, depending on your chosen faction, you will need to go to a specific region listed above. Players in the Marauder faction need to visit Ebonscale Reach to start their quest, while Covenant players need to visit Great Cleave. For Syndicate players, you must visit Shattered Moutain to begin your quest. Once you start the Strider of the Sands quest, you must follow the quest line to make a potion that allows you to enter Brimstone Sands.
