Who is the Red-Eyed Woman in New World?

New World has been hyped up for in preparation for its release for almost two years now, and during that time, we have undoubtedly seen at least one trailer with a mysterious Red-eyed woman. Because so little information is known about her, many players seek information about her, particularly her name and lore.

Unfortunately, there isn't much information known about her beyond that that doesn't require deep research about the character. Through some research online, we found out that the red-eyed woman's name is Isabella and that she seems to have some control or manifestation of the corruption from the amulet in her chest piece.

Although she was in trailers for the game almost as far back as when it was first announced, a lot of the information known about her is pure speculation. However, we have found a long, in-depth exploration of her character.

Beyond the lore, everything else known about her is pure speculation. Even the New World wikis have little to report on regarding her full purpose in the game.

Perhaps we'll find out more about her when New World's first DLC is released?
