Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince Has Been Announced!

Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince has been announced and is releasing in Fall 2019!

Trine has been a pretty beloved franchise over the years as a fun platforming puzzle game with RPG elements. You played as three different characters that could be swapped between whenever you like. When one of them perished, you could still play as the others until you brought them back to life. The game has also supported coop play, which makes it a fun game to play on the couch!

Trine 4 will be the next installment of this game. It is called "The Nightmare Prince" and looks to feature a lot of the same core gameplay. It also appears that they've gone back to the traditional 2D focused gameplay, where Trine 3 had parts that went 3D. The overall reception to those parts were not positive, so hopefully the developers learned their lesson.
