What time will Roblox start Trading? CEO David Baszucki rings the NYSE opening bell

RBLX is listed at a $45 reference point per share, but the price is likely due to change once trading goes live to the public.

The NYSE opening bell was rung this morning by none other than Roblox CEO David Baszucki. Baszucki was given the honors to celebrate Roblox going live on the NYSE through direct listing. Investors can begin trading Roblox (RBLX) today.

Baszucki stood behind the NYSE opening bell this morning, ringing it to kickstart Wednesday's trading. Behind him was the familiar Roblox logo, along with "RBLX Listed NYSE" on either side of the company logo. As such, the company is officially listed on the NYSE.

Baszucki also took to Twitter to reflect on how far the company, platform, and community has come since founding Roblox in 2004.

What Time will Roblox Start Trading?

Update March 10, 12:46 CT: Roblox shares have begun trading at 12:30pm CT. We've updated this section to reflect those changes.

Roblox started trading at 12:30pm CT, originally valued at $64.75 per share. Investors may begin purchasing shares.

Here's some helpful tips to know about Roblox entering the stock market:

  • Roblox is set at a $45 reference price per share.
  • The reference price does not reflect the opening public price.
  • The opening public will be determined based on demand for the shares, as collected by the NYSE from broker-dealers.
  • An opening price will be determined once the shares go live for trading.
  • The Roblox company will not be raising any capital.
