Weapons Tier List in Nightingale - Best Rifles, Knives, Shotguns, & more
The first weapons in Nightingale are makeshift, but for upper-tier weapons, you still need structures such as workbenches. All weapons in Nightingale are divided into four tiers, from S to C, according to their rarity and efficiency. This Tier list is prone to change according to the updates, and it is somewhat subjective.

Best Weapons in Nightingale
S-Tier
- Chassepot Rifle - This weapon is basically a sniper rifle in the game. It has the best range, and you will use it to deal with your enemies from a long distance. It doesn't have much ammo, so it requires precision, but its supreme critical rate makes up for it.
- Webley Revolver - Webley Revolver is the best one-handed weapon in the game. Its best traits are massive damage output and fast reload time. The fact this revolver is one-handed means you can use your other hand to hold something. Webley has a special button to unload all the bullets in the barrel at once, which is ideal to get out of a pickle quickly.
A-Tier
- Lee Metford Rifle - This modern weapon is favored by both the British Army and NTTC. Its range damage is not as good as the Chasseport Rifle, but it is faster and better at utilizing Magick power. It's the best common weapon, though not enough for top-tier.
- Webley Revolver - This revolver has solid ranged damage, strength, and Magick power usage. It still can't compare with weapons from the higher tiers, but it is very useful overall, especially during recon missions.
B-Tier
- Simple Slingbow - Simple Slingbow is the first ranged weapon you make during your adventures in Faeland. It is very crude and often hard to aim, but it is still very valuable because it lets you keep your enemies at a distance.
- Axepick - This unusual hybrid weapon is a double-edged combination of axe and pick. It allows for harvesting both wood and stone without changing the weapon. It's very useful, but worse than respective picks and axes in the same category.
C-Tier
- Makeshift Wood Axe - This is the first axe you get in the game and is very limited in terms of damage and usefulness. As soon as you finish the tutorial levels, you will want to craft something better.
- Makeshift Hunting Knife - The same thing goes for this knife. It's the first knife you craft, and it will be quite useful in the first hours of the game. However, once you pass the tutorial, you will quickly replace it.
