How to Unlock Max in Orcs Must Die Deathtrap – All Broken Mirror Fragment Locations

Maximilian, one of the most legendary OMD characters, is in Deathtrap, but you ain't getting him for free. Instead, you'll have to do some parkour, and we're gonna help you out. Here is everything you need to know on how to get Max in Orcs Must Die Deathtrap.

How to Unlock Maximilian in Orcs Must Die Deathtrap

To unlock Max in Orcs Must Die Deathtrap, you'll need to collect 5 Broken Mirror Fragments scattered around the Order Fortress. You can reach most of these fragments with any character, except for one, which will require you to use Kalos (because of his jump). Here are all the fragment locations and how to reach them:

Broken Mirror Fragment Location 1

The first Broken Mirror Fragment is on a balcony in the far north part of the Order Fortress, behind the Threads Shop NPC. You can reach this fragment with any War Mage.

Broken Mirror Fragment Location 2

The second Broken Mirror Fragment is next to a bed close to the Tutorial Video NPC in the central/eastern part of Order Fortress. Use the stairs on the left side of the platform to go up, or you can also boost yourself using the nearby furniture.

Broken Mirror Fragment Location 3

The third Broken Mirror Fragment is located on top of the castle staircase to the left of the Tutorial Video NPC (south/central part of the fortress). Just climb the staircase, and once you reach the top, turn to the left, and you'll see it in the corner.

Broken Mirror Fragment Location 4

The fourth Broken Mirror Fragment is on top of the right set of arches in the middle of the Order Fortress. To reach this spot, you have to select Kalos and use his jump (2nd ability) from the platform where you found fragment number 3 (top of the staircase).

Broken Mirror Fragment Location 5

The last Broken Mirror Fragment is in the courtyard in the southeast part of Order Fortress. To reach it, jump on top of the pillars that are scattered around the courtyard. Again, you can use Kalos's jump to quickly go from the ~middle pillar to the platform where the fragment is.

Once you've collected all the fragments, you'll get a pop-up screen saying that you've unlocked Maximilian. Currently, Max is the only War Mage you won't have unlocked by default. He is also one of the strongest and most versatile War Mages in OMD Deathtrap.
