Ancient and futuristic at the same time.

Ancient Technology in Palworld exists separately from regular Technology, with its own points system and crafting material required for its various recipes. Here's everything you need to know about Ancient Technology in Palworld.

Best Ancient Technology in Palworld

As you progress through the Technology levels, you may be tempted to immediately unlock and craft any Ancient Technology that becomes available. However, Ancient Technology Points are scarce in Palworld, as are the Ancient Civilization Parts required to craft these items. Below you'll find the Ancient Technologies most worth investing your resources into in Palworld.

Egg Incubator

The Egg Incubator benefits from early accessibility, being the first Ancient Technology you can unlock in Palworld. It allows you to incubate and hatch Pal eggs found either around the world or bred at your base, granting you access to rare Pals that are hard to find in the wild. Furthermore, the Egg Incubator is extremely cheap, costing 10 Paldium Fragments, 5 Cloth, 30 Stone, and two Ancient Civilization Parts to craft. This means you can place multiple incubators at your base without spending too many resources.

Pal Essence Condenser

If you have too many Pals of the same species, then I highly recommend building the Pal Essence Condenser, a machine that combines Pals in order to make them stronger. While you'll lose the Pals you condense, the Pal you select as a base will gain permanently increased stats and a stronger Partner Skill. The Pal Essence Condenser is a great way to free up some space in your Palbox and strengthen your favorite party members. You can build it at your base for 20 Paldium Fragments, 20 Ingots, and five Ancient Civilization Parts.

Average Feed Bag

The Average Feed Bag creates an extra slot in your inventory for food, which you and your Pals will automatically eat when hungry. In other words, you'll no longer have to open your menu and select food in order to feed yourself and your party, saving you a ton of time. The Feed Bags are unique as Ancient Technology because they do not require Ancient Civilization Parts to craft, making them cheap and accessible. The Average Feed Bag costs 10 Wood, 30 Fiber, and 10 Leather to make.

Hip Lantern

The Hip Lantern acts as a permanent light source on your Palworld character. It effectively negates the need for torches, allowing you to carry weapons or tools in your hand instead. In addition, the Hip Lantern is a Key Item, so it doesn't take up any inventory or accessory slots. It requires no fuel to maintain and does not need to be repaired. You can craft the Hip Lantern for 20 Ingots, 10 wood, 10 Flame Organs, and 10 Ancient Civilization Parts.

Single-shot Sphere Launcher

The Single-shot Sphere Launcher is a gun that fires Pal Spheres instead of bullets. It allows you to catch Pals from a distance, keeping you out of danger during battle. While you'll still have to lower the Pal's HP to capture it, putting space between yourself and a wild Pal will prevent it from retaliating if the catch fails. The Single-shot Sphere Launcher costs 50 Ingots, 100 stone, 50 Paldium Fragments, and five Ancient Civilization Parts to craft.

Decal Gun Set

If you like to build and decorate your Palworld base, then the Decal Gun Set is well worth spending Ancient Technology Points on. As its name suggests, the Decal Gun paints decals of various Pals wherever you fire it. You can select which Pals you want to paint, though you'll need to craft a unique ammo type (unlocked with the Decal Gun Set) to do so. It costs 30 Ingots, 10 Polymer, 15 Paldium Fragments, and three Ancient Civilization Parts to make the Decal Gun Set.

Homing Sphere Launcher

The Homing Sphere Launcher is the final Ancient Technology item you can unlock in Palworld. It's essentially an upgraded version of the Single-shot Sphere Launcher, firing Pal Spheres that lock onto a Pal and follow it until they make contact. This makes catching Pals a breeze, allowing you to keep your distance and respond to other threats while attempting a capture. You can craft the Homing Sphere Launcher for 100 Pal Metal Ingots, 50 Polymer, 200 Paldium Fragments, 50 Carbon Fiber, and 20 Ancient Civilization Parts.
